Papercrafting & Mixed Media Courses
We offer a wide range of Papercrafting & Mixed Media Courses for every level of crafter.
Whether you are completely new to it or have experience and want to build your confidence and skills, we have a course that will teach you new skills and guide you with up to date (current) techniques that will inspire you to apply them in your own, individual 'styles'.
You an also choose to attend different courses that run concurrently on different days to maximise your learning (please note that we also offer online learning as an option too, should this suit your needs better) and all materials and equipment are sent ahead of time so you have everything ready to get started.
Papercrafting & Mixed Media is ever evolving as new products become available with new techniques and skills and this makes our industry super exciting,.. there is always something new to learn.
Our courses have been broken down into specific categories and levels to make it easier for you to choose which is right for you. (we would always recommend starting at the beginning on the introduction courses, where available, if this is a brand new thing for you)
Our staggered programme of courses allow you to progress through the different levels with confidence.

All of our courses run frequently so if you miss a start date, don't worry, the courses repeat so you can join the next available date.

Courses that we are currently offering:
Decoupage - Beginner (4 weeks) & Intermediate (6 weeks)
Stamping - Introduction (3 weeks) Intermediate, (10 weeks) Advanced & Expert (9 Weeks)
Die Cutting - Introduction (4 weeks) Beginner (6 weeks) Advanced & Expert (11 weeks)
Embossing Techniques - Beginner (4 weeks) Intermediate (4 weeks) Advanced (5 weeks) (please note that these courses involve several learning methods for creating embossed textures that include using folders, die cuts, fabrics and more)
Our Mixed Media Courses are very specifically broken down into particular mediums as this is such a huge spectrum with alot to learn. By doing it this way, you will gain expert level skills in each of the mediums and all can be applied to any mixed media style projects that you choose to create yourself after the courses. (you do not have to do them all, just choose the mediums you are interested in learning and you can join courses that run alongside each other or concurrently to maximise your learning and time.)
Mixed Media - 4 weeks - Chalk Acrylic Paints (this is a very high volume course)
Mixed Media - 4 weeks - Acrylic Paints (this is a very high volume course)
Mixed Media - 4 weeks - Lustre Powders
Mixed Media - 5 weeks - Embossing Powders (this is a high volume course)
Mixed Media - 6 weeks - Texture Mediums (this is a very high volume course)
Mixed Media - 7 weeks - Inks, Spritzers, Ink Pads (this is a very high volume course)
Mixed Media - 3 weeks - Working Wiith Mica Based Products
Mixed Media - 4 weeks - Stencilling (this is a very high volume course)
Mixed Media - 5 weeks - Patina & Verdigris Mediums (this is a very high volume course)
Mixed Media - 8 weeks - Working On Canvas & Linen (this is a very high volume course and does require knowledge of mixed media products as listed above - we recommend attending the mixed media courses that you are interested in prior to enrolling on this course)
Mixed Media - 6 weeks - Air Dry Clay/Polymer Clay
Colourista Colouring - 5 to 6 weeks - Intermediate - Alcohol Pens (this is a very high volume course - some basic knowledge of alcohol pen properties is required)
Colourista Colouring - 4 to 5 weeks - Advanced - Alcohol Pens (this is a very high volume course - knowledge of basic alcohol pen principles is required - we recommend enrolling in and completing the intermediate course prior to the advanced and not to do them side by side)
Colourista Colouring - 4 to 6 weeks - Intermediate - Watercolour Blending Brush Pens (this is a very high volume course - no prior experience is required to enrol on to this course)
Colourista Colouring - 6 to 8 weeks - Advanced - Watercolour Blending Brush Pens (this is a very, very high volume course at an advanced level. We recommend enrolling in and completing the Colourista - Intermediate - Watercolour Blending Brush Pens course before enrolling in the advanced and not to do them side by side)

All of our courses are presented by Phill and/or Karen, who are both experts in the field with over 25 years craft education experience and all of our courses have a practical assessment with q & a at the end and, once completed and passed, you will gain a certificate to show which skills and knowledge you have learned from each course.
